Items to Bring to Your Appointment

1. SOCIAL SECURITY CARDS FOR EVERYONE IN THE HOUSEHOLD OR CHILDREN’S BIRTH CERTIFICATES.

2. IDENTIFICATION CARDS OR DRIVERS LICENSE

3. LEASE OR RENTAL AGREEMENT OR PROPERTY TAX STATEMENT

4. PROOF OF ALL INCOME IN THE HOUSEHOLD, INCLUDING CHILD SUPPORT, SSI, SOCIAL SECURITY, UNEMPLOYMENT CHECKS, PELL GRANTS AND FOOD STAMP AWARD LETTER. IF NO INCOME, 2023 INCOME TAX RETURN.

5. PROOF OF ALL EXPENSES SUCH AS UTILITIES, RENT, CAR PAYMENTS, MEDICAL, ETC.

6. IF YOU HAVE APPLIED FOR CHRISTMAS ASSISTANCE WITH ANOTHER ORGANIZATION, WE WILL NEED THE NAME AND CONTACT INFORMATION FOR THAT ORGANIZATION.

7. ALSO, PLEASE BRING INFORMATION ON EACH CHILD SUCH AS CLOTHING SIZE, SHOE SIZE, HOBBIES, AND CHILD’S REQUESTS TO SANTA, ETC. PLEASE SEE ABOVE ATTACHED PAPERWORK PROVIDED FOR THIS INFORMATION.

A Note From Our Team About the Process

Dear Families,

We’re excited to share that our Christmas Assistance applications for Grayson County children (birth through school age) will be available from November 1st to November 26th. We’re here to support you during this special time of year!

To participate, please schedule an appointment with us. It’s important to bring your completed application along with any required documentation so we can assist you and your family effectively.

Once you have all your documents ready, simply call the Resale Barn at 903-786-4331 to set up your appointment. If you find that you’re unable to keep your appointment, please reach out to us beforehand so we can help you reschedule.

After your application is approved, you’ll assigned a client number. Gifts and holiday dinners will be distributed at Lakeway United Methodist Church (located north on Hwy 289) on December 17th, from 8 AM to Noon. On the day of pick-up, please remember to bring the sheet with your assigned number, and kindly remain in your car for a smooth and safe process.
