Christmas Assistance Applications Now Open
We believe every child deserves the joy of Christmas. Our Christmas Assistance Program supports local families facing financial hardship by providing gifts, clothing, and holiday essentials for children. If your family needs help this season, we’re here to help.

Program Details
Applications for Grayson County children (birth–school age)
Before applying, please review gift ideas with your children. Gifts are limited to $50 per child, so keep requests realistic.
To help us choose meaningful gifts, include each child’s favorite color, hobby, and nationality on the application.
The program includes a holiday meal for your family and, when possible, new clothing for each child.
Approved Application Pick-Up:
December 18th, 8 AM–Noon at Lakeway United Methodist Church.
Please remain in your car for curbside service.

Required Documents
After applying, you'll be redirected to the upload center to submit required documents.
1. SOCIAL SECURITY CARDS FOR EVERYONE IN THE HOUSEHOLD OR CHILDREN’S BIRTH CERTIFICATES.
2. IDENTIFICATION CARDS OR DRIVERS LICENSE
3. LEASE OR RENTAL AGREEMENT OR PROPERTY TAX STATEMENT
4. PROOF OF ALL INCOME IN THE HOUSEHOLD, INCLUDING CHILD SUPPORT, SSI, SOCIAL SECURITY, UNEMPLOYMENT CHECKS, PELL GRANTS AND FOOD STAMP AWARD LETTER. IF NO INCOME, 2023 INCOME TAX RETURN.
5. PROOF OF ALL EXPENSES SUCH AS UTILITIES, RENT, CAR PAYMENTS, MEDICAL, ETC.
6. IF YOU HAVE APPLIED FOR CHRISTMAS ASSISTANCE WITH ANOTHER ORGANIZATION, WE WILL NEED THE NAME AND CONTACT INFORMATION FOR THAT ORGANIZATION.
7. ALSO, PLEASE BRING INFORMATION ON EACH CHILD SUCH AS CLOTHING SIZE, HOBBIES, AND CHILD’S REQUESTS TO SANTA, ETC. PLEASE SEE ABOVE ATTACHED PAPERWORK PROVIDED FOR THIS INFORMATION.
